CCEE1823, Virgin Stamps

Probably 5 or 6 years ago, I bought this set at Big Lots for $2.00.  Everyone on SCS was using that gown and I fell in love with it!  The whole set was virgin until this challenge.

This card will go to my granddaughter who moved to Colorado to follow her dreams.  I remember when my DH and I went "on the road", how much I missed family and wondered what we were doing.  I truly did "believe" and my DH and I had 5 years of unsurpassed travel....memories that are precious now that he is gone.  However, my granddaughter is all alone in Colorado where she always dreamt of being, so I think an little encouragement is warranted,

Won't you join us and show us your virgin stamps!  Please add CCEE1823 to keywords on SCS and link back to our blog here.  Have a fun, productive day!

I love the memories this brought you of your travels with DH. I know your DGD will love it. (I got this set too, and never inked it up. I must go find it!) What a beauty this card is, mf!

It was almost 20 years ago when I was a SU demonstrator. I love all my stamps I have collected over the years. Before I retired, I had more money to spend on my hobby, but I already had it mind, I was investing in my retirement time when I would have the time to get to use them all. Glad this great little investment of yours is bringing some joy to your grand daughter. My love for rubberstamping outgrew the limitations I felt with SU, and now with online stamping companies, the sky is the limit.

What a fabulous card for your granddaughter. May she find all that she is dreaming of in her new Colorado home.

Funny thing is I, too, have this stamp and have never inked it! With two young 20s granddaughters, I probably will soon!

Sounds like some magical times you had traveling with your husband! Thank God for treasured memories!
