CCEE1737, Roald Dahl Day

For her second challenge, Kelly says "We're celebrating Roald Dahl Day!  Yesterday was Roald Dahl day - create a card using any one of his books as inspiration.  There are so many!  As a voracious reader myself, I hope you have fun with this theme."

I must admit, I have never heard of this person!  I plead ignorance.  However, while searching info on him, I found this caricature drawing and I just could not resist.  I just now realized it was to be inspiration from one of his books!  I can't help it....I love this caricature!

Thanks for the informational knowledge, Kelly!  Now, I know who he is!  Pretend all his books are in that little head!  LOL!

Please join in on this challenge adding CCEE1737 to keywords and linking back to the CCEE blog here.

Love your caricature. Until I read your post, I almost thought your card was based on the Big Friendly Giant, one of his books. I have a little Roald Dahl tidbit for you. He was married to Patricia Neal, who looked very much like my mother!

Oh Vicky! You captured the essence of Roald Dahl perfectly! I am so sorry the hurricane hit and we evacuated and I missed my own card week(s) but SO glad you posted this one! It makes me smile! Perfect!
