CCEE1711, National Button Week

Lynn says National Button Week is comping up, so make use of buttons or faux buttons on your project or creation.  Perhaps that might be a specially made box or jar in which to keep some of your buttons.

I have no imagination when it comes to sewing or buttons, so I made a very simple CAS card.  Hope you do better than I!

Please add CCEE1711 to keywords on splitcoaststampers and link back to the CCEE blog here.

Your fabulous card reminds me of the hours of fun we had dumping our Grandma's button jar. We had such fun sorting them in every way possible and creating wonderful pictures on the carpet! Great design, Vicky!

Like Lynn, your card reminded me of my grandmother and her button jar! I still have a jar of buttons up in my spare room closet.

Me too! Grandma had LOTS of buttons, and what fun I had with them. Your card is a wonderful reminder of those far away days! Great job!

Vicky...that is so fabulous....I love it as it reminds me of a large coppery colored tin box my mother had near her sewing machine full of all sorts of button 'gems'....unfortunatley, my mother was not a hoarder and threw things away and apparently the buttons disappeared in a cleaning.....thanks for bringing back that memory from my childhood....your button jar is absolutely perfect for this challenge

This meets the brief perfectly, it was so much fun playing with buttons as a child
